A home-like alternative to kennels in Gig Harbor, Washington

Will my pup receive enough attention while I'm away?

Am I gonna get daily shenanigan updates?

Do I need to worry about my sidekick while I'm far?

A small-setting environment offers a host of benefits for your favorite bestie.

Personalized Attention

With fewer dogs, your pet receives more individualized care and attention, ensuring their specific needs are met.

Stay connected

You will get daily updates and photos via the Time to Pet app or receive texts if you prefer to, so you can stay connected with your best friend throughout the day.

F.A.Q.

YES! Effective June 1, 2024, this business is insured by PCI Pet Care Insurance with Policy No. JN1224.

Rover’s Guarantee helps, but it likely doesn’t cover everything. Pet Care Insurance provides protection for:

  • Injuries to furry guests: Even accidents happen! Insurance helps cover vet bills if a pup gets hurt under our watch.
  • Liability for The Purdy Pack business: A client trips and falls? Insurance can help with medical costs.

Basically, it gives you and I peace of mind knowing we’re covered for mishaps beyond Rover’s Guarantee.

YES because your bestie’s safety is our priority! Luisa is Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Our certification through CPR Seattle (expiring March 2026) equips us to handle emergencies and ensure your pup receives the best possible care while in our home.

We have limited spots for personalized attention.

We provide a close-knit environment where your pup receives the attention they deserve. To ensure this, we only accept a maximum of 5 boarders (and the same for daycare). This allows us to cater to each dog’s individual needs, especially during:

  • Mealtime: We ensure every dog receives their food and has a relaxed dining experience.
  • Sleepy Time: We provide comfortable sleeping arrangements tailored to each dog’s preferences.
  • Nighttime Potty Breaks: For nighttime potty walks, we use fun, neon-colored collars for extra visibility, keeping your pup safe and us attentive. Plus it looks like a rave party is happening in our yard.

Your dog becomes part of our small pack, not just another guest 🙂

Absolutely! A meet-and-greet allows your best buddy to get comfortable with the sitter and her own sidekick and for you to discuss any specific needs or instructions.

You will be getting regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can see your best friend happy and well cared for.

Of course! Open communication is encouraged. The sitter will have their contact information readily available.

No problem! We are comfortable administering medication with clear instructions. Be sure to discuss dosage and any potential side effects with us beforehand.

Your sidekick becomes part of our small pack, not just another guest.
